Kunal Chopra's diary - A father's dream
The serial very well depicts that even if one person in the family is not happy the entire family suffers. Kunal is fighting his first case after 5 years and the joy or the happiness his father feels is again shown very well. It is a big day for Kunal as well as his father. Kunal also understands that, just that he tried to brush it under the carpet when Seema showed the excitement.
The more talented a person is the more is weight of expectations, here we have the gold medalist, the great lawyer in making who was jobless for five years.
It would have been ok if someone else was jobless, for a person of his calibre to be jobless is all the more painful. And a lot more painful for his father, because every parent has a dream for his child, many a times they live their dreams through their child.
And in Kunal's case, his father knew that it was not Kunal's fault this life turned out the way it did, it was his destiny. Every time Kunal was unsuccessful, his father and mother also shared his pain. It also shows that blood is indeed thicker than water. Kunal and his father dont see eye to eye on most of the things, they had a cold war going on for ages, but the father still feels his pain and still feels his happiness.
We all have our different ways to hide our tears, even if they are tears of joy
Some people avoid going to the airports
Some people cannot handle good byes
Some people crack jokes
Some people start laughing
Some people tend to make themselves busy with work
Do I envy the men for not being able to shed tears..Not really :)
I think for a long time now I will have to keep writing about the old episodes and thank god for the old episodes, I have a huge bank from Aug to Feb to keep me busy.
